NGDC's Company Team
This competitive team includes dancers age 6-18 of all skill levels. Each dancer will learn the importance of being part of a team, while also growing as a dancer. Competition season begins as early as October and can run through July (if attending Nationals).
It is a year-long commitment to be a member. The team averages 4-5 competitions annually with additional competitions available to soloists, duets and trios.

Many factors are taken into account when choosing our company members. Maturity, focus, behavior and ability are just a few things that are considered. Auditions for the team are held annually in May. Contact the studio for more information regarding auditions.
Company Team Requirements

Dancers must take at least 6 hours of training. These classes are to include 2-ballet, technique, jazz, lyrical/contemporary and a choice of tap or hip hop.

Dancers are not allowed to select their group dances. They are assigned by choreographer choice and will not be assigned to more than 5 group dances.

Summer Intensive (June dates TBD) and Choreography Camp (July dates TBD) are mandatory.

Attendance is a must. Company members become the face of the studio and are held to a higher standard therefore, expected to be present in all classes/rehearsals
